Alice Howe (Joint Group Coordinator)

Hey, I'm Alice and along with Beth I'm one of the group coordinators for the Diabetes Support Group. I'm currently in my 3rd year of medicine, I happened to be diagnosed with diabetes by accident in one of my medical classes! I enjoy doing lots of different things, I love dancing and have done ballet for years and years. Here at the Univeristy of Nottingham I take park in ballet, contemporary and jazz classes. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in October 2014, however since my diagnosis I have carried on doing all the things I enjoy, and eating all the things I used to! As someone very new to diabetes I am keen to get really involved in supporting those affected by the condition.
