Ebun Carew (Communications Officer)

Hello! My name is Ebun and I'm a 4th yr medic and the communications officer for Type1 this year. I personally don't have diabetes but have a great deal of interest in the condition (partly due to family and partly because I'm a medic haha). More importantly I think that it is so unrecognized and that those that do have it don't receive all the support they need. I remember being confused seeing friend of mine at secondary school injecting insulin at lunch time, not really knowing what was going on; so I am quite interested in raising awareness about Type1 and helping to provide a forum where people can share experiences and make friends who understand the intricaces of living with type1.
