UoN SU Type 1 Diabetes Support Group

Nihar Qamar (Treasurer)

 

Hello, I'm Nihar and I joined the diabetes support group on campus because I believe that even people who don't have or know anyone with diabetes would benefit from being aware about the condition as it does affect so many people in the world. I have been chosen as this year's Treasurer on the committee and so have to approve funding requests, but am always happy to help if anyone has any questions about diabetes or general life on campus, so don't be afraid to ask even the supposed 'admin' people.

 

I study Electrical Engineering at the university and try to take part in different societies on campus since first year, and I'm having a great time so far! :)
