Hello! We're the Type One sufferers of the University of Nottingham and those who support them.

The University of Nottingham Type One Diabetes Support Group was set up in 2013 for young adults living with T1D in Nottingham. Our aim is to provide a support network for students away from home - while helping to raise awareness about Diabetes and it's symptoms.

We provide information about juggling a life at university and maintaining blood glucose levels. We run events to raise awareness of the symptoms of Diabetes. We fundraise for Type 1 research so that one day no one is Type 1. We also provide support for all sufferers and their friends and family.

On this website you'll find our blog containing stories about living with Type 1 whilst at university as well as posts on current research and guest posts. We're always looking for new and original contributors so feel free to get in touch.
